Introduction to Ballet: 45 minute classes
This course is designed to introduce 5-6 year olds, in an enjoyable way, to the beginning elements of ballet training: simple dance movements, rhythmic training, non-strenuous limbering exercises, use of hands and arms, creative expression and self-discipline.

Ballet: 1 to 1.5 hour classes
Emphasis is on self-confidence, poise, discipline and musicality. Progress is carefully monitored, reflecting the student's natural ability. Classes range from beginner (7 years and older) to advanced. Graduates are easily accepted into post-graduate or professional schools as small class sizes assure high quality teaching. |

Adult Ballet: 1 to 1.5 hour classes
This course emphasizes posture, musicality and enjoyment. Adults are taught all the basics of ballet with personal attention geared to natural ability. Progress is achieved gradually, but most adults are able to do pointe work within a few years. Age is no barrier. |
Pointe Work: 1/4 or 1/2 hour classes
This class is designed to teach female students to dance on their toes. A girl must be sufficiently advanced in technique and be taking at least two ballet classes per week. |

Modern Dance: 10- 13 yrs (Junior Modern), Teens and Adults, 1.5 hour classes
Modern with Brittany Duggan
This class is influenced by release techniques, which emphasize economy of movement by not holding more tension necessary for the movement. It concentrates on breath, alignment and momentum. It is for students interested in a dance career as well as those simply seeking a fun form of exercise.
Junior Modern Dance (beginners)
Offered as an introduction to modern dance, this class will use a variety of modern dance styles and techniques to explore movement concepts such as fall and rebound (Limon), contract and release (Graham), weight transference, working off centre, dynamic and level changes. It will also provide opportunities for creative interaction and improvisation. |
Pre-Modern & Dance: 45 minute classes
This course is for 6-9 year olds who are interested in creating and exploring movement, learning basic dance technique and creating dances. This class consists of technique, use of music (including instruments, recorded music, words and voice), equipment (skipping ropes, hula hoops, scarves, boxes mats, etc.), and art to help create dances and stories. This class progresses into Junior Modern dance programme. |

Movement Monsters & Giggles: 45 minute classes
This course is a pre-dance programme for 2 1/2-5 year olds. it improves basic movement skills and encourages combination and exploration of new ways of moving through the use of fantasy play, creative movement and props (mats, hoops, tubes, etc.). Fun is part of the learning process. |
